Anonymous asked: What is Sarah getting you for Christmas?
She won’t tell me :(
Anonymous asked: I don't know you that well but I care for you. And I love hearing your opinions on thing
do i share my opinions with you or do you just see them?
Anonymous asked: nah, It's not punctuation or anything like that, who gives a shit about that kind of stuff, it's poetry. It's just that sometimes I read your stuff and it seems a little wordy, like it could be edited down, or maybe if you really thought about it you could find a better word. I don't know, I don't mean to be too critical. One of the things that's special about what you write is that it's so raw.
oh i get what you mean
i write until i either run out of paper or feel like ive come to a conclusion. the hardest part of poetry for me is finding a way to make it end in a way thats suitable
but no a lot of my poetry isn’t really something id be eager to show off. most of them are just to make myself feel better.
and about word choice, i really don’t know how to defend that one. youre pretty right about it, i dont always use words id think to use daily. maybe its a bit out of character for me to do
Anonymous asked: Name?
Anonymous asked: your poems are fab and raw, but they would be better if you looked over them with a more editing eye.
if youre referring to my syntax or the difficulty you might have reading some then it’s on purpose, if there are obvious blatant typos then that’s because i literally write them at 1 in the morning or when im driving down johnston street and the traffics bad. i know im not consistent with capitalization and conjunctions, but i feel like there’s a reason i do what i do. i dont know. i dont like editing. but if there’s obvious typos point them out! id be glad you did
